How Do You Get Married In Torn

The Church was introduced with the RESPO update on the 23 June 2014. Torn Church's current head is Father Hiram Williams (as noted in a travel message). Players are able to get married at the Church. To do this, you must first acquire a ring of some kind, and then use it in your items to propose to an unmarried player of your choice.

To get married in court, contact your local courthouse about getting a marriage license, and gather the necessary documents, like a driver's license. Fill out the application and required paperwork for the license, and pay the fee before submitting your application to the court.

To end a marriage, either player may divorce the other. You may not divorce until you have been married for at least 7 days. Divorces are granted by going to the City and visiting the Church .

To obtain a witness, you must both visit the Church after you are engaged. Here you will each have the option to add witnesses. The witnesses must be selected off of your Friends list, and the witness must accept the request in order to be considered a valid witness.
